These rules were formed in our house in order to make life easier for everyone. These rules are left in the kitchen. There is also a notice board in the lounge for any messages for house mates or the Landlord.
- The front door will be locked at night. If you are planning to be out late, be sure to inform someone so that you don't get locked out.
- Muddy/Wet shoes are to left in the porch. Shoes are not to be worn inside.
- Do not make a noise in the front garden, nor bang on the windows.
- Floors will be vacuumed at least once a week, so keep the place tidy.
- Be considerate of timing when using the washing machine, as the spin cycle is extremely noisy.
- All dishes must be washed up in order to prevent mold and pest problems.
- Throw away all moldy or out of date food/drink in brown wheelie bin.
- Buy in your own food/drink, or contribute towards costs for meals.
- No cups/glasses left around the house.
- Clean up the bathroom after you use it.
- The back door should only be open if someone is downstairs, and should be locked at night.
- When cooking with oven, open the back door and turn on fan, as the oven smokes sometimes.
- Put out the trash and replace bin liners.
- Recycle where possible.
